Fallon Ambulance Pledges $30,000 to Quincy Medical Center

Fallon Ambulance Service, the area's leading independent ambulance service provider and the 9-1-1 provider for the City of Quincy, has pledged $30,000 to assist the Quincy Medical Center (formerly Quincy Hospital) in its fundraising efforts.

Fallon Ambulance will provide $6,000 per year for the next five years. Maryrose Mirick, Executive Director of the Quincy Medical Center's Foundation Department, termed Fallon's pledge "extremely generous and very much appreciated."

"They're a great organization," Mirick said, "A real part of the community."

Fallon's contribution will be divided among two key programs near and dear to the Quincy Medical Center - supplying emergency services with necessary equipment, and assisting in the annual fundraising walk that the Center sponsors.

"Fallon's contribution will help provide anything that the Center might need, including stretchers, defibrillators, and a lot in between - as long as it goes to the emergency department," said Mirick. She added, "And, $1,500 of the annual Fallon pledge will be used to help fund the Mary Curry walk, which goes from the Quincy City Hospital to the Summer House at Marina Bay."

Tim Fallon, CEO of Fallon Ambulance, said, "As a part of the Quincy community, we're happy to assist the Quincy Medical Center in its fundraising efforts, so that they may continue the good work that they do for the community. We have long believed that medical service providers are part of one large family; and, as a family business, we understand the importance of family helping family."
